Palmhead Group

Set up in 2001, Palmhead Group’s core business is in oil palm cultivation and milling, amongst other interests. Striving to be the best in the region, we are constantly innovating to create a sustainable future for the Company and our surrounding communities.

Oil Palm Plantation

We have 4 plantations with a total planted area exceeding 15,000 hectares. By adopting good harvesting and maintenance standards, we have ensured consistently good crop yields throughout the years. We produce well over 300,000MT of fresh fruit bunches (‘FFB’) annually.

Palm Oil Mill

We set up PSS Oil Mill Sdn. Bhd. to mill FFB from our own and neighbouring plantations. Practising near-zero-waste, products from FFB include crude palm oil (‘CPO’), palm kernels, palm kernel shells and bunch ash.

With a capacity of 90MT/hr, FFB and CPO we process and produce each year stand at approximately 500,000MT and 100,000MT respectively. We are amongst the top 10 in Sarawak in terms of FFB processed each month. Amongst these 10, we regularly achieve the highest oil extraction rate (OER).

Quarry

With the Bintulu region developing into an industrial and logistics hub, we seized on the opportunity to diversify our portfolio with the setting up of Stonehead Sdn. Bhd. We quarry sandstone and sell various sizes of DCR etc. to federal projects (e.g. Pan-Borneo Highway), construction sites, oil palm plantations etc.
