Job Descriptions
1. Land Preparation & Development:
• Oversee and supervise the day to day activities including land clearing, leveling, drainage, chipping, replanting, road construction and planting operations
• Monitor soil conditions, erosion control measures, and replanting activities.
2. Infrastructure & Plantation Establishment:
• Supervise the development of roads, bridges, and irrigation systems for efficient plantation operations.
• Ensure proper layout and spacing for oil palm planting to maximize yield and sustainability.
• Manage the procurement and deployment of machinery, tools, and resources.
3. Compliance & Environmental Management:
• Ensure adherence to environmental impact assessments (EIA) and sustainability policies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, best practices and company policies during all phases of development
4. Contractor & Workforce Supervision:
• Coordinate with contractors and monitor their performance to ensure timely project completion.
• Supervise field workers, providing training on best practices for land development.
5. Budget & Reporting:
• Assist in preparing budgets and cost estimates for land development projects.
• Monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effective land development.
• Maintain accurate reports on land preparation progress, labor, and material usage.

Job Requirements
• Minimum diploma or degree in Agriculture, Plantation Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in land development, particularly in oil palm plantations, with a strong understanding of land clearing, replanting, and planting operations.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role in plantation management or land development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a remote location, with willingness to stay and work on-site in the estate.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic plantation management software is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
