Purchasing Assistant / Officer

Job Descriptions
• To assist in daily purchasing activities which includes quotation sourcing & negotiation, preparation of purchase order, processing of invoice to account department for payment and etc
• Manage and coordinate purchasing with supplier for delivery arrangement on all purchasing activities to ensure timely delivery
• Prepare and maintain up to date purchasing record such as supplier database, purchase record and related documentation
• Prepare cost analysis
• Provide support to superior for the day to day purchasing function including sourcing and obtaining competitive quotes from supplier
• Any ad-hoc tasks as requested by superior from time to time

Job Requirements
• Posses at least Diploma in any field of study
• Highly organized and detailed oriented
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Able to write and communicate in Malay & English
• Preferably candidate with 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience
• Computer literate and possess knowledge in Microsoft office
