Job Descriptions
• Consolidate group-level financial reports and oversee month-end closing activities.
• Consolidate and analyze group-level costing reports across plantation, milling, and quarrying operations.
• Support the preparation of the annual budget and monitor performance against targets.
• Lead the accounting processes such as payments cycle management, stock take and payroll to ensure timely completion, resolving issues, and guiding team to maintain smooth and accurate processes.
• Review financial reports and work submitted by subordinates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Lead, mentor, and support staff to develop/upkeep their accounting competencies as well as strong organizational skills, workplace professionalism, and effective work habits.
• Participate in liaising with external auditors during annual and interim audits to facilitate smooth audit processes and ensure timely provision of required documentation.
• Travel to estates, factories, and sites (when needed) for work purposes such as stock take, meetings etc.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by Management or the Immediate Superior from time to time.

Job Requirements
• Education: Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Skill: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, leadership, time management, collaboration, and attention to detail.
• Personality: Integrity, due care and diligence, professionalism, and being a team player.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or costing roles. Experience in the same industry or at least 2 years in a similar Assistant Manager role is and advantage.
• Language: English and Bahasa Melayu
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions and data analysis), accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or plantation-specific systems), and skilled in common Microsoft Office applications.
