Chief Mechanic

  • Job Descriptions

• Responsible to oversee all range of workshop repairs and maintenance activity, monitor work progress and work quality to ensure it met the company’s standard
• Plan, organize and manage the maintenance and services of vehicles and heavy machineries
• To provide training and development to subordinates to improve knowledge and skills of workshop team
• To train and guide the workshop team in identifying and analyzing mechanical condition of the vehicle and machinery
• To inspect internal system and control to ensure the vehicle and machinery is operating properly by using diagnostics tools and methodology
• Monitor the ongoing condition of workshop tools and equipment, arrange for the purchase and replenishment of spare part/ tool required
• Monitor the processing of complaints and process major or complicated complaints if there is any
• Any other ad hoc task as and when assigned by Management

  • Job Requirements

• Possess at least diploma in relevant field of study
• At least 4-6 years of working experience in related field
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Possess advance knowledge of heavy machinery/ vehicle repair and maintenance
• Possess good leadership and communication skill
• Willing to relocate and to be based in Tatau, Sarawak
